Pretty Fabrics' premium 220g/m² waterproof oxford polyester is an exceptionally durable, smooth, breathable, and polyurethane-coated waterproof fabric that firmly resists wear and frequent washing. Thanks to its 100% polyester composition and polyurethane coating, it is an ideal choice for products where moisture protection is important—such as footmuffs, pet accessories, waterproof bags, fabric food wraps, furniture covers and bags.
It is easy to work with using a standard household sewing machine—simply sew with a straight stitch. For best results and to avoid damaging the coating, it is recommended to use a universal or micro needle. Since oxford polyester does not fray, overlocking the seam allowance with a zigzag stitch is generally unnecessary, though this may depend on the type of project.
To preserve the fabric's waterproof quality and overall performance, pre-washing is not recommended.
The appearance of colours may vary depending on your screen settings, so the actual fabric colour may slightly differ from what is shown. This is not considered a defect!
